TIMBER STRUCTURES / WOOD PERGOLAS

A structure that lives outside.

A pergola faces sun, rain and wind every day. That is why it starts with species and sections: durable woods, joints that don’t trap water and firm anchoring to the ground or wall.

We design it with the architect for the shade you want: open beams, boards, a screen, or ready to take a roof or a climbing plant.

HOW WE MAKE THEM

Built for the outdoors.

  • Durable species such as tzalam, macuil or zapote, depending on exposure.
  • Joints and cuts that shed water instead of trapping it.
  • Corrosion-resistant hardware and anchors, especially on the coast.
  • Exterior finish, with periodic maintenance.
  • Installation by our own team.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Wood pergolas

Which wood is best for a pergola?

Outdoors we usually use tzalam, macuil or zapote, durable woods. On the coast we also take care of the finish and of salt-resistant hardware.

What maintenance does a wood pergola need?

Like any outdoor piece, its finish needs renewing from time to time, depending on the sun and rain it gets. We maintain the structures we install.
