A chair is the hardest-working piece of furniture: it carries weight, gets dragged and moves all day. That is why its joinery, sections and seat are designed to last, especially in a restaurant.

We have made tzalam chairs for Bacanora restaurant, chairs for Criollo and macuil chairs with palm seats for Casa Antonieta; the seats are woven by Oaxacan artisans we work with.

We make any kind of chair in solid wood: dining, restaurant, bar stools, benches or your own design from a sketch or a reference.

Do you make restaurant chairs?

Yes, in runs of 4 to 50 identical pieces. Before making the run we build a prototype to fine-tune comfort and finish.

Can they have palm seats?

Yes. The palm seats are hand-woven by Oaxacan artisans we work with.

Can you make a chair to my own design?

Yes. We make any kind of solid wood chair from a sketch, a photo or the studio’s drawings, with a prototype to fine-tune comfort.
