CUSTOM FURNITURE / WOOD BARS

The heart of the bar.

A bar is the most used piece in a bar or restaurant: it takes knocks, liquids and cleaning every day. The top, the structure and the finish are designed for that, and coordinated with equipment, sinks and lighting.

We made Campante’s tzalam bar, a live-edge bar for Hotel Boutique El Callejón and Pabilo’s display unit, all in Oaxaca.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Wood bars and counters

Which wood is best for a bar?

For tops we usually use tzalam or parota; parota allows single-piece live-edge bars. The finish is chosen to resist liquids and cleaning.

Do you install the bar on site?

Yes. We build it in modules at the workshop and install it with our own team, coordinated with the rest of the construction.
